Now our first Allgäu vacation is over and I have tears in my eyes when I look in the rearview mirror. I feel the need to say thank you to the entire Ebert family who made this holiday unforgettable. We haven't seen so much warmth and real joy in being a host despite this difficult time. We are infected with the Allgäu virus and we are indescribably looking forward to seeing you again next year ❤

In summary: "the hammer": the breakfast varied and original !! Rooms clean and cozy, family atmosphere, charming location. BREAKFAST: varied and original, German breakfast with various types of bread, fresh gray bread, fruit (now also figs, kiwi ...) 7 sliced ​​cheeses and Bressot, 13 sliced ​​meats and meat salad and various homemade jams, e.g. strawberry elderflower and plum jam, fresh eggs , Brisk, constantly friendly service. The whole thing in a beautifully airy breakfast room, so that you seem to sit outside at breakfast all year round. The ROOMS are up to date - nothing seems to be worn or faded - everything is clean, even though the PENSION is an old, nested house (=> the house is not suitable for the disabled, even if the showers in the rooms are converted to low entrances). The deco in the house is constantly changing and so there is something new to discover every year. LOCATION: The pension is on one shoulder of the main valley: you can see the mountains all around, while the cities of Fischen, Sonthofen and Oberstdorf in the valley are not visible. There is a plateau on this shoulder, so you can take short walks on the plain. Dietrichs lies above it, however, and you have to climb quite a bit to get to the pretty chapel from 1750 and to have a magnificent view of the mountains. From the house there is a bus stop about 1 km away, from which there is a bus every hour. In summary: "the hammer": the breakfast varied and original !! Absolutely brilliant place to stay. A family run hotel in the heart of the Algau with lovely comfortable rooms and excellent breakfasts and evening meals. Couldn't recommend high enough! !!

Was here several times. Very friendly and always nice. Food very good but unfortunately only as a guest is possible. See you soon, we're really looking forward to it.

Beautiful location with many possibilities to directly explore the mountains. The day starts here with a breakfast buffet of the finest that leaves no wish unfulfilled - so every day just has to succeed :) In the evening there is the possibility for the guests in the restaurant regional food and drinks;) to enjoy with panoramic views of the mountains and the all at an unbeatable price / performance ratio. An easy knitted guesthouse with nice owners and wonderful staff. Although only food for people who live there, but great and filling. Rooms and apartments are standard but best for the purpose of the night. Price is unbeatable. I have been here more than 20 times. Devincible to recommend for people who want to have good service and very good in the Allgäu want to stay.
